INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE : Trickybeard’s Challenge

Running Time: Self-paced*

Students test their memory of the various elements in the Periodic Table by matching the most common 25 elements to their respective scientific symbols. Working with the elements outside of the traditional array pattern depicted on the table allows students to work with the symbols in a fun and challenging way! Deep in Trickybeard’s fiery lair, treasure chests are arranged in a circular pattern: chests with gold locks contain the element name and chests with silver locks contain the corresponding symbols. Students must match all 25 pairs before time runs out!
