Earning Your Micro-Certificate
In this final module, users will complete the necessary steps to earn the VictoryXR Spatial Learning Micro-Certificate, demonstrating their ability to design and implement effective VR-based lessons. The certification process includes unit planning using the Asset Catalog, developing a measurable rubric, and submitting a complete lesson plan with assessments. Educators will also participate in an in-application training session and a curriculum conversation with the VictoryXR team, providing personalized guidance on optimizing VR instruction. Once submitted, lesson plans will be reviewed, and participants will receive feedback, certification, and the opportunity to be featured in the VictoryXR Lesson Plan Library. This module ensures educators are fully prepared to integrate spatial learning strategies into their curriculum with confidence.
In-App Training Registration
Now that you understand the evolution and impact of VR pedagogy, it’s time to explore how you can practically implement VR into your own curriculum. We invite all VXRLabs subscribers to participate in our weekly in-application training sessions, where you will gain hands-on experience with the platform. These interactive sessions will guide you through managing licenses, setting up virtual classrooms, navigating the application, selecting subjects and experiences, utilizing 3D assets for instruction, and leveraging classroom management tools to enhance student engagement.
Please note: We strongly recommend attending an in-app training session before moving forward with the certification process. A thorough understanding of the platform will greatly support the development of your lesson plan and rubric, ensuring your VR-based instruction is both effective and immersive. For the best experience, we encourage you to join the session in-headset to fully appreciate the power of spatial learning firsthand.
Curriculum Conversation

During this meeting, you will:

- Ask specific questions and receive targeted feedback on your ideas.
- Brainstorm with an expert who specializes in VR implementation across diverse educational settings.
This session is designed to provide practical guidance and customized recommendations, ensuring that VR becomes an effective and seamless part of your teaching strategy.
Spatial Lessons Plans & Rubric Submission
Welcome to your final steps towards excellence in spatial education! In order to earn your VXR Spatial Education Micro Certificate, we’re asking you to demonstrate your newfound skills by completing the steps below.
Part One: Journey to Lesson Planning
In Part One of the Applied Learning section you are tasked with creating a Lesson Plan for a potential class of yours using VictoryXR VR and AI software.
- On your computer, login to your VictoryXR account at https://account.victoryxr.com.
- Select My Classes from the left-side menu bar and then select + New Class.
- Enter a name for your class and select Create Class.
- Select View next to your class, and then + Add Student (optional).
- Select Lesson Plans on the left-side menu bar.
- Select + New Lesson Plan.
- This will open the Asset Catalog.
- You can define parameters for your search on the left side using the filtering criteria, and/or use the search bar to find assets to add to your lesson plan.
- Under each asset there is a + Add to Lesson Plan button that will add the item to your lesson plan which shows up on the right hand side of the page.
- When complete, select Create Lesson Plan.
- Select Lesson Plans from the left hand menu bar.
- For the Lesson Plan, you’ve created, make sure the visibility is either Public or Organizational (private lessons are visible only by you and cannot be shared).
- Select the Lesson Plan you want to distribute to students.
- Select Assign to Class and fill in the information, including instructions for how to use these 3D assets.
- Once assigned, students in the Class will receive a notification to complete the Lesson Plan.
Part Two: Rubric
Just as learning in VR requires looking at things differently, so does the evaluation process. We strongly recommend that you create rubrics for students and for yourself to go along with lessons. These rubrics can be universal, or they can be very specific to learning outcomes. Either way, they are a great way to evaluate understanding and growth with project based and experiential learning projects.
Here is a template for one that we have used for lessons. Please feel free to make a copy of this document to use for your own rubric.
