Back-to-School with Free VR for Schools

VictoryXR Releases the King’s Labyrinth free to every school in the World

August 10, 2022

VictoryXR announced Wednesday it has released its popular game, The King’s Labyrinth, free on Meta’s App Labs for use on the Quest 2 headset.

“This is our gift to students around the world, hoping back-to-school is just a little more fun now,” said Steve Grubbs, CEO of VictoryXR. “The King’s Labyrinth is a fun learning maze that is the perfect learning tool for everyone from middle school to graduate school.”

The virtual reality learning game combines the fantasy of a medieval maze and review questions as learners find their way through the complicated maze. Once a student finds the gate, they must answer questions correctly in order to raise the gates and continue toward the king’s lair. But answer correctly and the learner gets sent back to the last gate.

“Our hope is that schools around the world will use this game to inspire more students to have fun learning and grow the world of VR in education,” said Grubbs. “Soon, any teacher will be able to upload learning questions and then turn their students loose to learn the subject matter – while having a blast.”

To find The King’s Labyrinth on Meta’s App Lab, just search ‘VXR Labs Labyrinth’ in the Quest headset and then scroll down to App Lab.

The game may be enjoyed as a solo experience or with a group of friends in multiplayer mode.
